“Every time I watched I never felt satisfied”

Gracelyn Sorrell …“I was 14 years old... I was watching hours of porn every day, one in the afternoon and then three or four hours non-stop at night. When I watched the videos it gave me an adrenaline rush. It was like insulin to me, I needed it. The porn and masturbation were never fulfilling. It was always a chase. It was dehumanizing. I felt guilt and shame afterwards. Porn did nothing for me. It never will add to our mental, emotional, or physical state. But the addiction did lead me to discover what is True, Good, and exhilarating: God. In Him, there is no shame but there is help. Cry out to Him because He does hear and He does deliver. He can do it, through His Son Jesus. Purity Is Possible if you decide to yield your mind, body, and soul. I’m now a purity advocate who does not believe in “living up to perfection” but does lean on the One who is able to lead us in progression. God was the answer, He still is the answer in every moment. Pursue Him- because more than anything, He would love to hear your voice in a feeling of defeat rather than be ignored because you feel ashamed. Today is your day to change. Freedom is accessible.”
